About Me

G’day, my name is Kingsley, 25, from Australia. I am a qualified IT Support Technician with a passion for data scientist.

Background

2017:

I studied at North Metropolitan TAFE in Perth, Australia where I obtained my Cert III in Information, Technology and Digital Media. The Cert III was a mixture of programming, networking and web design which were I found my passion
for networking and loved programming.

2018:

After completing the Cert III, I decided to do a Cert IV in Information Technology Networking where I continued my passion for networking. I then decided to do a Diploma of Networking but ended picking a job as a Service Desk Technician
with Kinetic IT and was put on the BHP contract. While at BHP, I met my business partner Tarek.

2019:

I was given the opportunity to become a 2IC Major Incident Coordinator with BHP that gave me a chance to expand my people skills.

2020:

In mid 2020, we were told that the contract with BHP will be coming to an end at the end of the year. I decided to leave Kinetic and was given a role with RSM Australia as an IT Consultant. I loved working with RSM as I was doing
front line support as well working with clients directly.

2021:

In April, I decided I to move back to Queensland to be with my family, I then found out about the Data Science field. I started looking into the field and started doing some courses on Udemy and decided I want to pursue a career
in the field. I am currently applying for acceptance to a Bachelor of Data Analytics.
